Branded E-mail Addresses

Each domain name is assigned up to ten free e-mail addresses that can be forwarded to another account or left on our server to be retrieved at a convenient time. Each additional e-mail address associated with the domain name costs $5.00 per month.

Site Template Design

Your website should reflect your company. The design should fit with your image, not some pre-made template. All of our designs are customized to fit the needs of your company.

The price of page design often depends on the complexity of the design. We’ll make an appointment to look at your materials and evaluate your project based upon its complexity.

Once we get a better feel for what is involved in the project, an accurate estimate of cost can be established.

Note: The images provided for your pages must be of high enough quality to be scanned. Artwork in digital form is preferable. If text is not submitted in digital format, there will be a fee for retyping each page.

Logo Design

Logos usually take at a couple hours to design. We ask that before you begin, you find some logos you like to give me examples of what you are looking for. You can see some samples of logos we have designed.

Any graphics or code that we produce for you are owned by you. If you hire me for the job, you will own the rights to the logo. We can even create it in a high resolution format that you can use for letterhead, etc.

In general, you are paying me for my time. The work that we produce for you is owned by you. The exceptions are software programs and images that we do not have the rights to give to you, i.e. WordPress, other third party software solutions such as a membership management software and ownership of any stock photos we might use in the creation of your site. However, the licenses if any would be held by you.

Once we have all of your materials, we’ll meet together on the phone to flesh out an outline of your site and the specifications for your design template. After the initial template is designed, you will be presented with the design for approval. We’ll adjust the design until you are satisfied. Then we’ll take the design and break it out into a template for the web and insert your content.

Monthly Storage and Service

Sites start at $37.50 per month. This includes hosting, backups, email and a secure certificate. We can negotiate that fee for smaller sites or small non-profit organizations. Call Scott at 716-694-9992 today to discuss your options.

If you have a site with high traffic and a lot extreme amount of data transfer, we’ll have to look at expanded options to suit your needs.

Secure Certificates

Having a secure certificate is no longer really an option.  All sites need them as search engines now penalize you for not having one.  Also, browsers now show a broken lock or a lock with a red line through it if you do not have one. I include the certificate with the hosting package listed above.

A website security certificate is a validation and encryption tool, part of the HTTPS protocol, which secures and encrypts data going back and forth between the server and the client browser. It is issued by a trusted certification authority (CA) who verifies the identity of the owner of a website.

Having a secure certificate also means that your clients will not see warning messages as they enter your site.  Such warning messages can deter visitors. 

The cost of a secure certificate is included with the standard monthly hosting.

If you do not want the secure certificate, I’ll knock $10 off your monthly hosting. (not recommended)

Incoming E-mail Filtering

We have partnered with Spam Experts.

For $10.00 per month for an entire domain, we can set you up to use their service for incoming mail filtering.

You’ll get a daily report showing all the spam delivered for each e-mail address. This report will show you all the messages that they filtered out with options for each message to:

  • Release
  • Release and Train
  • Whitelist Sender and Release
  • Blacklist Sender and Remove

Backup of E-mail

If you are interested in having your mail backed up in the cloud, we can offer you a 10 gigabyte limit for $10 per month for the entire domain name. This is also done through Spam Experts.

Audio and Video

We can take data from a cassette tape, VCR tape, DVD, digital video file or audio cd and convert it to the format of your choice. We can even upload videos to YouTube for you and post them on your site.

These jobs are billed at our standard hourly rate.

Hourly Rates

Our hourly rate is $115.00 per hour. I keep track of your time in 5 minute increments in a spreadsheet.  Usually our customers purchase a couple of hours on retainer so that small changes can be addressed without continuous billing. Once the retainer gets low, we bill you for two more hours to replenish your account. You’ll need to purchase at least one hour to get your support service going.

We will always do our best to get to your work as soon as possible. However, if you NEED to have it done within 24 hours or over a weekend, we reserve the right to charge at a rate of time-and-a-half with a minimum charge of 10 minutes. Just put “URGENT” in the subject of your request and it will be given the highest priority.

Note: Time purchased on retainer is non-refundable.

Late Fees

Invoices past 30 days will be subject to a 5% late fee. Invoices go beyond 60 days will be subject to 10% late fee and accounts that are beyond 90 days will be shut down and the invoices turned over to a collections company.
