Setup Microsoft Outlook
This page contains instructions for setting up your account for Outlook 2003, but no matter what your version of Outlook or other program you are using the settings will essentially be the same. If after you look through this page you are having trouble, call 716-694-9992 and Scott will help you.
- Go to 'Tools' pulldown menu and choose 'E-Mail Accounts'
- Click 'Next >'
- Add a new or change your existing account
- Make it look like the image below replacing your name and your e-mail address.
Note: You can use our mail server for outgoing mail if your ISP allows traffic on port 25. If not then you MUST use the SMTP server of the ISP you are connecting through.
If your ISP is blocking port 25 for outgoing mail, you can try using an alternate port on our server as a work-around.
Note to Comcast users: Camcast does not allow the use of SMTP servers other than their own. See http://www.comcast.net/help/faq/index.jsp?faq=Email117481.
- Click 'More Settings' Then Click the 'Outgoing Server' tab on the top.
Choose the box that reads, "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Click 'OK'
- Click 'Next >'
- Click 'Finish'
